Bulgaria is a beautiful and thriving country, where one can find churches, mosques and synagogues right next to each other.
Sofia
The Bulgarian language uses Cyrillic for the script.
recently the subway network has been expanded significantly
in Sofia almost all pavements have protection bars
Sofia hosts the Jewish synagogue
and couple of meters away mosque
and church right after, incredible.
An authentic shopping center in the center
the Bulgarian flags are very popular, they are everywhere
In Sofia you can see classical European architecture
along with communistic giant authoritative objects
the mobile air quality laboratory roaming around
taxis are of bright yellow color
and finally the marvel of Sofia, the temple Sveta Paraskeva, Byzantine style church.
Plovdiv
From the first look Plovdiv feels very boring and typical soviet city, but it is not at allthe arrows pointing to sister towns over the world
Plovdiv hosts wonderful roman theater, one of the most well preserved one
the historical old town hosts traditional Bulgarian mansions.
yet another one
Armenian church in historical old town
Plovdiv surprises with super cool paintings
and with weird warning signs
