Poland - Wrocław

Poland is a beautiful country and has a lot of historical heritage


Wroclaw

Wroclaw is the 4th largest city of Poland, and has been under rule of many countries.
Last time its been under German rule and the city was called Breslau.

Wroclaw is famous of having small gnome statues all over the city, in different compositions.
Some people go to Wroclaw to hunt all gnomes and make photos of all gnomes

Beside gnomes Wroclaw has another interesting installation called "Passage".
Statues of people sink in the ground then rise on the other side of the street

Polish banknote is not Euro but Zloty

The city in general is quite atmospheric, as well as beautiful Polish girls

Oder river flows across Wroclaw

Along the river, some people chill by fishing

Some by hugging each other

Wroclaw was heavily destroyed after the second world war, but has be reconstructed afterwards

A popular place for getting together is Centennial Hall, which is a large hall used for concerts, sport events etc.
The weird structure on the left side the a very tall 100 meters "tower" called Iglica, which means needle.
It has been constructed by communist.

People got there maintry for dancing/multimedia fountains, they lay on ground and chill
