Braga is one of the largest northern cities of Portugal
Braga used to be surrounded by fortification
The most central cathedral of Braga with interesting towers, which are very similar to cathedral of Edinburgh
All over the city in old town buildings are covered by typical portuguese tiles
Sometimes tiles are with reliefs
The central gate to old town
Braga city hall
Old town of Braga is full of causie streets
An old master working on sculptures
Northern Portugal has a lot of British influence, as historically there have been strong ties since middle ages
Buildings in old town are built very tight next to each other
The most prominent sight of Braga is Bom Jesus do Monte, advertisements are all over the city
Huge cactuses grow at Braga city park
A very common portuguese public seating area, this kind of structures can be seen all over Portugal
Braga has probably the uglies public benches in the world
But has the most picturesque facades/entries
Occasionally you can find very cool art elements on the buildings
And finally Bon Jesus do Monte, this is a sanctuary which is UNESCO world heritage sight
On the way to the top, there are weird sculptures
And many more
On the top the atmosphere is very relaxing
As well as beautiful church
With fantastic interior
You cn get to the top of hill with funicular, its sort of lame to find it after you are on the top
