Norway

Norway is a super rich, expensive and very different from the rest of Europe.
Norway become enormously rich because vast resources of oil were discovered in 60s.

The architecture in capital is sometimes very modern, like the opera house, imitating a floating iceberg

Sometimes very classic

Norwegians are confidently using wood, almost everywhere, starting from facades of building

for interior decoration

for indoor furniture

for outdoor furniture

for trash containers and many more


by the way, the trash cans of Oslo are the largest in europe


Norwegians use krone for currency

the coins have hole in the middle like in Japan
traffic signs are banded for better visibility 

the red traffic light is repeated twice for special dumbs

Norway is heavily pushing on electric mobility, Tesla, BMW i3 are the most common cars on the streets

along with cars, electric scooters are very popular

Oslo has abundance of statues like Skopje, heavily emphasizing nudity

A large park is decorated with interesting  sculptures by Gustav Vigeland

where the most famous symbol of Oslo can be found, the Angry Boy

in city interesting fountain sculptures can be seen

memorial to world famous Fritdjof Nanses

Norwegians live in reddish houses

like Finnish people Norwegians are also passionate about sauna, a floating sauna in fjord.
They jump into ice cold water right after sauna.

Norwegians consume whale meet, the black meet on the right bottom
Whale tastes very bad, don't eat whale !

it's common to see traditionally dressed people on the streets

speaking of traditions, Norwegians preserve a very cool Viking ship museum
